Website Update - off campus database access

From January 2015 off campus database access requires your college logon (same logon as Moodle) instead of the library password.
Your library password is still required for exam paper access and renewing books online.

Changes to Room Booking System!

Changes have been made to the booking system for study rooms to cope with demand for time slots.
From January 2015, room bookings will be restricted to 4 time slots per day, that is four half hour sessions, giving 2 hours max. per person.
Future bookings will now extend to as far as one month in advance.
This is to make the system fairer to everyone, so that the rooms are not block booked but usable in small slots by everyone.

Student ID cards for Exams

If you have exams this week and don't have your student ID card yet - don't panic.
All you need to do is upload your photo to Moodle and send an email request to library@itsligo.ie to get your student card posted out to you.
See previous post How to upload your student photograph for guidelines on how to do this.
However, if you do not have your ID card in time for an exam or for some reason forget it, please bring some form of photographic ID with you, either Passport or Driving Licence, along with your student number.

Best of luck!
